Our Team
Novarity was built with a lean team on purpose. Ali brings 20+ years of product marketing experience. Scott keeps the business running so I can focus on clients. And me? 25 years of building products, teams, and processes. That's the foundation.
The Novarity Story
What I bring to Novarity started in a garage.

I started as a bookkeeper for my dad's startup manufacturing company, while still in high school. Less than two years later, we had two factories and I was scrambling to build processes fast enough to keep up.
That early chaos taught me something most product leaders never learn from the inside: what actually moves the numbers. I spent my early career in finance, working my way from bookkeeper to controller, always navigating growth.
Then I made a sideways leap into tech.
I worked for SAP implementing complex ERP and cross-functional reporting systems before making the leap to product. Later, I intentionally joined Workiva, a smaller company at a different growth stage, because I wanted to build breadth across the full scaling journey.

Across those years, I built product visions and roadmaps. Modernized multiple legacy products. Designed teams from scratch and stood up a competitive intelligence function. Made build/partner/buy calls that shaped product portfolios. Navigated acquisition after acquisition, figuring out how to integrate products, people, and cultures without losing momentum. Lived through the shift from perpetual licensing to subscription, watching an entire business model transform.
Over 25 years: 12 acquisitions navigated, 20+ products launched (12 from concept), 3 legacy modernizations, 7 teams designed
And the whole time, I kept getting pulled back to smaller companies.
In 2019, I started consulting on the side. Friends asking for help. Founders who needed someone to soundboard with to clarify their direction or explore new go-to-market ideas. That's the work that always felt most rewarding.
In 2025, I stopped treating it like a side project. I spent much of the year getting clear on what Novarity should actually be and building it from the ground up.
Novarity is the full-time version of what I've been doing for years: helping growth-stage companies transform their products, processes, and people without drowning in enterprise bureaucracy or staying stuck in startup chaos.
